AROA WINERY
Bodega Aroa is in a modern building with a wide panoramic view over the vineyards and the Yerri valley, sheltered by the Urbasa and Andía mountain ranges, in one of the highest areas of Navarra. Aroa takes care of its fields and makes its wines in an ecological way through an artisanal process, preserving the essence of the product. The visits include the tasting but we recommend that you try the Winery Menu (tasting) at the Aroa Bodegas Jatetxea Restaurant, in which chef Karlos Zurbano takes care of the product, always natural and seasonal, with the best of Navarrese vegetables and livestock. and Cantabrian fish.
PRACTICAL TIPS
-The Winery is located in the middle of the countryside, among vineyards, and to get there you have to be attentive. From Villatuerta we will take the detour towards Grocin and Zurucain. After Grocin, and before reaching Zurucain, there is a barely signposted detour. Take it with caution to finally access the winery after a short journey along a gravel track.
-The winery stands out for its modern architecture and its wide panoramic views. For visits, an appointment is essential. There are two modalities:
Visit to the winery + tasting of 2 wines and special tapas – 10 euros/person – From Wednesday to Sunday. 13:00 p.m. and 16:00 p.m.s.
Visit to the winery + Winery Menu (tasting) at the Aroa Restaurant Bodegas Jatetxea – € 42 per person.
The Aroa Bodegas Jatetxea Restaurant offers two menus, the simplest for 16 euros and the most exquisite Winery Menu for 36 euros. We recommend an appointment.

We have asked Bodega Aroa to recommend three wines, one for going around the house, for when we have engagement guests or we feel like opening a bottle simply because we feel like it, another for occasions, when a guest comes to us that we want to entertain, and the third, a different wine, one that has been made with special care and that we will not find in other wineries.
WINE YOU LIKE
AROA MUTIKO
Cherry color with violet hues. Middle layer, clean and with the presence of tears. On the nose it has a medium intensity. Frank, clean and elegant. With aromas of red fruits, licorice and notes of spices.
GALA WINE
THE NATURE
It is a clean and bright wine, in which beautiful raspberry tones dominate, surprising for a red wine. The nose is fresh and frank, with good intensity, highlighting the notes of blackberries and violets. In the mouth it has an attack of fresh fruit, which reveals its origin from high altitude vineyards. It has a very pleasant mid-palate and is a friendly, light and very easy to drink wine.
A SPECIAL WINE
LE NATUREL REPOSADO
Wine with a light purple and raspberry color. On the nose, subtlety and complexity, with nuances that give it an attractive and mysterious character. Floral notes, rose petals, red fruits and some spices come together, forming a wide aromatic range. In the mouth it is elegant, with friendly tannin and great length and range, fresh, balanced and with great persistence.
