Belagua Valley
This simple walk offers the possibility of getting to know the Belabarze valley following old paths used by the inhabitants of Roncal and that connected them with the summer pastures and with the neighboring valley of Ansó (Huesca). The route begins by crossing the Otsindundua bridge ( 16th century) to access the Cueva del Ibón, a large room that acts as a natural drainage for the nearby Ezkaurre massif in the rainy season. After the visit, we continue north parallel to the river, in a common section with the Camino Real (white-red-green markings) that we will soon abandon to begin the ascent to Belabarze. Once at the top, the path descends towards the Ateas de Belabarze, passing through the spectacular waterfall and leading to a track, which is immediately abandoned to descend along another path through forests to the Belagua River. All that remains is to cross the Romanesque bridge to return parallel to the river to the starting point.

TIPS
– If we want to take the short route to the waterfalls, we can park on the road that goes to Zuriza and from there we will quickly reach the waterfall.
– The complete route we will enjoy different views and vegetation of the environment
– In the winter months the route may be covered in snow.
– There is a risk of vertical fall for a few meters around the Romanesque bridge, extreme caution.
· The route runs along the NA-137 highway for a few meters, extreme caution at all times.
