XORROXÍN WATERFALL FROM ARIZKUN
Circle route. Long Jump 10,5 km. Elevation 333 metres. Estimated tour time: 3 hours.
The route begins in the town of Arizkun, we leave along a concrete track and after passing a regatta intersection, we turn right and take a dirt path between trees that will lead us to the Hermitage of San Gregorio in the vicinity of Gorostapolo.
We go down to the town and follow the path that leads to the Xorroxin waterfall, it is a very well signposted route so it is easy to follow.
We return to Gorostapolo and climb to the left along the mountainside, until we reach a crossroads that indicates the direction towards Arizkun. We pass by a peak on which there is a ruined hut to the right of the path.
At the next intersection we take the path on the right towards Arizkun. We pass by the hermitage of La Dolorosa and finally descend to the town of Arizkun.

– The route takes us along mountain tracks passing through some farm. Use caution if dogs are loose.
– This is a moderate route, not only because of its length, but also because of the route. It is necessary to pay attention to the signs and download the track and map of the route.
– Don't forget to bring enough water and a snack to regain strength and enjoy your route!
– To get to Xorroxín you have to cross the river several times, sometimes across rudimentary wooden bridges or jumping from stone to stone.
– Xorroxín is one of the most visited destinations in Baztán, so if it is a holiday, the influx of visitors may be high, sometimes excessive.
