ASKETALDEA CAVES

We leave Abaurrepea/A. Go down a cattle track that descends between fields. About 400 m from the start on the right we cross a gate to reach the old mill along a gentle path. We continue straight along the track, we pass two crossroads, and to the left we ascend through the mountains. After a flat section between boxwoods and beech trees, a sharp turn to the left along the path. We go out to a fern and reach a gate on the right. Without passing it, a few meters away is the Asketaldea cave. We continue the walk to the left along a path next to several old lime kilns. Then we go out to a forest road that descends through an area of ​​mowed beech trees. We leave the track and continue along the path to the left between extraordinary boxwoods. You pass near a fountain surrounded by oak trees of beautiful shapes and size. We cross another gate and again on a track, leaving a ruined hut on our left, we continue until we cross another gate. We continue along the track to the town.
