GASTRONOMIC TOURISM IN THE RONCAL VALLEY
In the wildest areas, sustenance depends on what can be extracted from the land with effort, and in Roncal people subsisted on hunting, fishing, mushrooms, and the milk that the menhaden sheep gave. All this tradition has given rise to a succulent gastronomy, in which the Roncal designation of origin cheese stands out. Shepherd's migas are another of the specialties, and among other restaurants, we can taste them in the secluded Venta de Juan Pito, located high in the mountains.
