12 kilometers from Estella-Lizarra, on a 70.000 square meter estate stands the XNUMXth century neo-Gothic palace that the Countess of Vega del Pozo ordered to be built following models of English neo-Gothic mansions. Coffered ceilings, fireplaces and a large monumental staircase decorate the luxurious interior space while outside the countess arranged a fabulous botanical garden with a great variety of roses.
In 1991, the winery that honors the name of this palatial construction was founded with the aim of producing high-quality wines. Warehouses with modern machinery and barrel rooms result in excellent wines worthy of recognized awards such as the Golden Baco from the Union of Tasters for white wine in contact with wood, which stands out for its freshness.
