Welcome to Bodega Vega del Castillo in Olite!
A step away from the historic center of Olite is the Vega del Castillo winery, founded in 1990 and which reflects the tradition and good work of the union of three cooperatives: Bodega Cooperativa Olitense (Olite), the Cooperativa Virgen de Ujué (Ujué) and the Nuestra Señora de Ujué Wine Cooperative (Pitillas). Its vineyards extend across lands with different characteristics, ranging from the low mountains to the middle and upper banks, and produce a wide variety of grapes: Grenache, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viura and Muscat. They are collected and elaborated with care to obtain the wide variety of wines that you can find in the Bodega Vega del Castillo store.
Our winery also offers guided tours and tastings, where you can discover our vineyards, learn about our history and winemaking process, and taste some of our best products. We also have a store where you can purchase our wines and other products related to the world of wine.

We have asked Vega del Castillo to recommend three wines, one for going around the house, for when we have engagement guests or we feel like opening a bottle simply because we feel like it, another for occasions, when a guest comes that we want to entertain. , and the third, a different wine, one that has been made with special care and that we will not find in other wineries.

Intense garnet color, clean and bright. On the nose we perceive aromas of well-matched fruits as well as typical aromas of wood such as vanilla and tobacco. In the mouth it is mature and with a long aftertaste where we once again have woody flavors. Ideal to accompany meats, game and cured cheeses.

GALA WINE
WONDER
