In the center of Leitza, surrounded by huge Basque farmhouses, is the Musunzar, a charming rural hostel, in an ideal environment for practicing nature sports. It is a robust stone building, with its balconies and mezzanines, which has on the ground floor a restaurant with a menu of homemade food, abundant and at a good price, of recognized fame among locals and tourists. It has eight comfortable rooms, four of them duplex, with bathroom and all the necessary amenities. A family hostel where you will feel at home.
Tips
-The hostel is in Leitza, which is a large town, with a lot of industry, but it has a historical part that is worth visiting, with its large Basque farmhouses, its flowery balconies and its narrow streets. El Musunzar is part of this privileged enclave.
-It is very easy to get to the hostel since it is located next to the main street that runs through Leitza. You can park without problems nearby without having to enter the old part.
-Leitza is located in an environment with numerous tourist attractions, ideal for hiking. We recommend taking bicycles to explore the Plazaola Greenway, heading towards Lekumberri or Andoain, passing through tunnels and forests. A landscape that will undoubtedly surprise you. The Musunzar has a bicycle storage room.
-The hostel has 8 rooms, four of them duplexes that take advantage of the mezzanines to create charming spaces. Bathroom, Wifi, television, and all the necessary amenities. The hostel has a common lounge. Call the hostel directly to see conditions and make your reservation.

The restaurant offers a menu of traditional homemade food, natural, abundant and at a good price. We try to ensure that the foods on our menus are local and seasonal.
We offer menus prepared for groups, celebrations (baptisms, communions).

On Saturdays and holidays we offer a weekend menu at 15,50 euros and an a la carte menu.
We also offer mixed dishes, portions and pintxos….
The restaurant is open all year round, closing only from December 24 to January 2, in addition to every Sunday afternoon.
