Cozy place with familiar and personalized treatment, this is Altxunea. Make yourself at home. We really maintain the essence of the flavor of a homemade and traditional preparation. We have a charcoal grill in sight, in which we elaborate local fish and meat. Our magical environment, ideal to discover and enjoy, combines perfectly with our restaurant.
The grill. We have different meat specialties with a charcoal grill, such as beef tenderloin and chops from neighboring farmhouses and Pyrenean cow steak with its own curing. And in fish, hake cocochas battered with mushroom sauce, cod cocochas, sea bream, monkfish, sole, hake, neck, turbot and sea bass.
Our specialties. Apart from the charcoal specialties mentioned above, we have grilled artichokes, white asparagus and peas (in season), peppers stuffed with mushrooms in their sauce, homemade foie micuit with armagnac with truffle shavings, grilled Lodosa piqullos, asparagus tartlet, changurro tartlet, grilled greenfish with prawns, brik stuffed with mushroom, garlic toast with five acorns, pochas with clams, warm cod salad, warm lollo salad with prawns and Modena vinegar, fish soup , grilled seafood clams and prawns and prawns from Huelva.

Menu. At Altxunea we don't have a menu per se, everything is à la carte. We invite large groups to call us to specify prices for lunches and dinners during the week. On average, an a la carte menu can cost around €40-45 per person.
