Linear round trip route. Long Jump 6,5 km. Elevation 302 metres. Estimated tour time: 2,5 hours.

We head to the source of the Urederra river, which means beautiful waters, this is an outlet of an aquifer of karst origin in the Urbasa Natural Park. To access this we must go to the town of Baquedano, it is important to reserve in advance because it is a very visited place and the authorities try to limit the capacity to preserve this incredible natural space in the best possible conditions.
This route is easy, it runs along marked paths and generally under the shade; The starting point is the Baquedano parking lot, from which we begin the tour following the signs that, through the town, take us to the church of San Juan Bautista, the old laundry room, the fountain in the square and the pediment.
On the outskirts of the town there is a recreational area with wooden tables and benches. A few meters away there is a metal gate, we take the path to the left next to the bed of the Urederra river, to the right is the Dehesa and moving a little further we pass next to the Gurpide waterfall.
We found few forks during the route and each one has the necessary signage to avoid losing the path in which there are sections up and down, some stairs and wooden walkways.
After traveling a few kilometers, the last of which is on a steep slope, we reach the highest point of our route, the source. The waters look an intense blue color and are protected to prevent them from being damaged by visitors.
We return along the same path to the parking lot where we started the route.
