The southern part of Bardena is generally less known. That is why the contrast of its Aleppo pine forests and abundant shrubby undergrowth, well preserved and typically Mediterranean in character, is surprising.

It is characterized by its relief formed by plateaus of different heights and is crisscrossed by a dense network of ravines with narrow bottoms. In its landscape, the fields of ceralist crops stand out, which occupy the flat areas, and the kermes oaks and pine forests that border the plains. It is the area with the greatest vegetation cover in the Bardenas, which manifests itself in the form of a Mediterranean forest.
