Welcome to San Adrián, a cozy town in the Foral Community of Navarra, located between the Ebro and Ega rivers, in the Ribera del Alto Ebro region.

The Relics

In San Adrián, a silver casket containing bones of martyrs from the Roman catacombs. According to legend, these remains were donated in the 12th century, by the daughter of Alfonso VII: Doña Urraca, who suffered from a eye disease and after praying in the hermitage of San Adrián she was healed.

Conservation Museum

The Conservation Museum is located in the center of San Adrián in part of the old factory The Navarrese.  With more than 300 m2 exhibition of objects and elements contributed by the town's inhabitants themselves, which narrate the history of the canning industry of San Adrián and how it is intertwined with the growth of the town since the end of the 19th century. Luis Gurpegui Muga Wineries

In San Adrián there are the historic wineries by Luis Gurpegui Muga, with more than 150 years of experience, producing wines with DOCa Rioja Denomination of Origin.

Its facilities are open to wine tourism and offer the possibility of learning about the different stages of wine production. Its reserve reaches 12.500 barrels.

Old Bridge

The Old Bridge is an iron structure with more than a hundred years old, inaugurated in 1921, which crosses the Ebro river uniting Logroño with Navarra. Before its construction, crossing the river was done by boat, which could be dangerous depending on the capricious course of the river.

Ega Caves

These caves are located in a vertical stone wall over the Ega river. It is estimated that they were used as places to do penance and that they could even have been used by the Celtiberian peoples.

  • San Adrián is located 78 km southwest of Pamplona, to get there from there you take the highway AP 15 until Peralta and then the NA-115.
  • The Winter Festivals of San Adrián are celebrated from the first to the sixth of January.
