WITCHCRAFT WEEK

Since the beginning of time, when humanity was beginning to awaken, witchcraft emerged as an attempt to understand and control the forces of nature.

In all cultures, those who knew how to use these forces were respected and exerted great influence on their communities. In Bargota we also had an initiate in the occult arts: our clergyman Johanes.

Their stories, passed on by word of mouth, have been the object of admiration and respect. There is talk of bandits transformed into cats, of goats that disappear in strange circumstances and of akelarres in the light of the moon, where the spirits of the night appeared.

In Bargota, we know witchcraft and night parties well.

We invite you to enjoy with us, to join our haunted parade, to have fun with the “magic tricks” of our “Johanes” and to indulge in the great party of the night: the Akelarre.

THE GARAÑANGO THEATER GROUP invites you to its show: “Cuentos de Candiladas”.
